Stephanie Locker-Hall is a graduate of the Performing Artistís Musical Theatre Conservatory and a lifelong performer and teacher of dance. As a student she studied with Gus Giordano in Evanston, Il; with Luigi in NYC; and as a National Scholarship winner with Joe Tremaine in LA. As a professional performer, she appeared in countless industrial shows across the nation as well as touring in AEA productions of Damn Yankees with Jamie Farr and Chess for director Rob Marshall. She also appeared in Casa Manana productions of Hello Dolly, Guys and Dolls, and Fiddler on the Roof, plus multi-year stints as a dancer for the Wilsonart International Show and Mary Kay Cosmetics Seminars. She also served as The Director of Childrenís Dance at Mountain View College, and was a part of the creative team at Freestyle Show Productions participating in the development and production of events across the nation. A highly-experienced choreographer, she has staged A Chorus Line for Mountain View College and Dames at Sea for Texas Wesleyan University in addition to co-directing and choreographing numerous shows for Sally Beauty International. She also has worked with show choirs at Arlington HS and choreographed at each studio where she has taught, including C.A.T.S. and Dance Theatre Arlington. Stephanie teaches Childrenís Combined Classes, Junior's Ballet and Jazz, and Teen Lyrical at Freestyle, while costuming, creating, and coaching competition pieces.
J Hall is the retired Director of Dance, Mountain View College, serving in that position from 1981 through 2006 and was the founder of Freestyle Show Productions. He studied and performed with companies including The Little Rock Ballet, Dallas Metropolitan Ballet, and The American Dance Machine while having the opportunity to study with master dance teachers Lee Theodore, Buzz Miller, Gemze DeLappe, Robert Audy, Nikita Talin, J. David Kirby, Bettye Morrow, Ann Etgen and Bill Atkinson, and jazz dance legend, Luigi, to name only a few. A very busy choreographer, he has staged shows for nightclubs, scenes for movies and videos, and works for companies such as Krassovska Ballet Jeunesse, Ballet Arkansas, and the Dance Energy Co. in addition to working with theaters, arts groups, and universities including Theatre-3, Garland Summer Musicals, Texas Tech University, UTD, and Texas Wesleyan University. He has also directed, produced and created shows for master Las Vegas illusionist Steve Wyrick, served as the choreographer of the Wilsonart International Show from 1990 through 2000, and staged the Sally International and GTE/Verizon Road Show Tours, in addition to founding the JCPenney Jazz Dance Competition and co-creating the original JCPenney Arts Sunday events in the DFW metroplex . His background also includes classical acting training with Shakespeare and Co. and members RSC, plus the direction of over 150 industrial shows and musicals. J teaches Teen- Adult Luigi Jazz Technique, Juniors- Sr Ladies Rhythm Tap, and Musical Theatre at Freestyle while creating tap and jazz competition pieces.
